There is nothing more dreary than winter in the Northwest. It is gray, cool, dismal, and the endless rain just drags me down. I knit this super bright and cheerful shawl to help me combat those winter blues. It’s hard to stay sad when faced with such a glorious shawl at my fingertips.

This pattern is meant for mid-level knitters to experienced knitters and all those in-between. Please read the entire pattern before beginning.

Yarn: 1 Skein Teresa Ruch Tencel 5/2, 100% Tencel, 520 yards, Tangerine

Needle: US 4 (3.5 mm) Signature Circular needles or needles to obtain gauge

Gauge: 5.5 stitches per inch (spi) and 8 rows per inch (rpi) OR 22 stitches & 32 rows to 4 inches/10 cm in stockinette

Size: 42 inches by 28 inches

To alter the size: Adjust your gauge to increase or decrease the size of the shawl as needed.

Notions: Size F (4.00 mm) crochet hook, stitchmarkers
