Kite Heaven is a half kite (asymmetrical triangle) shawl featuring an easy lace pattern and beaded knitting.

Solid or semi-solid colors show the pattern best.

If you’re new to beaded knitting you can find an excellent tutorial on how to apply beads to your knitting here.

The shawl’s size is completely adjustable. Work as many repeats of the main pattern (indicated by the repeat between * and * below) as you wish.

The sample shawl used one skein, if you want your shawl to be bigger, you will need more than one skein for this project. One skein is enough for the size stated, though.

This pattern is suitable for beginning lace knitters and easy enough to make it the perfect knitting project for any waiting room.

All pattern names from the Knitting in the Waiting Room project are inspired by post punk songs. This one is named and inspired by the song True North by Bad Religion.
