I designed this shrug for my UPcycled Tshirt Yarn Class (http://stefaniejapel.ning.com) and, by request, have made it available for sale here on Ravelry.

Yarn:
This little shrug is knit from about 4 Tshirts’ worth of yarn. A single Tshirt averages from 35 - 45 yards, depending on this size. My yarn measured 6 WPI

Needles:
I used size US15 circular needles to knit mine.

Gauge:
Approximate gauge is about 2 sts per inch, but it varies slightly across my different tshirts.

sizes

This shrug is designed to accommodate a range of gauges and needle sizes. You will cast on for the size that best describes your end goal (adult S – XL, adult 2XL – 3XL) and continue knitting until you reach your desired chest measurement.

Because of this, the shrug will not be a “Fitted Knit” unless you add your own side shaping, etc.
