This shawl pattern is in pre-retirement until January 1, 2025. At that time, it will be discontinued. This digital pattern will no longer available online.
Taking inspiration from our view of the North Oregon Coast, and our local warning system, I have developed the Tsunami Shawl. If the Tsunami Shawl is knit in a cotton blend, perfect for cool spring and summer evenings. If knit in blended wool, great for the blustery winter.  The shawl is worked with increases on one edge, and step decreases on the other, creating an asymmetrical shallow (oxymoron) shawl with plenty of wingspan, making the shawl very versatile as a cowl, wrap, or scarf. This might be considered an advance beginner pattern because knowledge of stitch and shawl construction are helpful. It takes a few evenings or weekends to complete, making the Tsunami Shawl a perfect gift or accessory.

The pattern pdf will print to 3 pages, you may want to print front & back.

Update: While making the last minute name change for the Tsunami Shawl, an error was created in the photo description. The corrected pattern is available for download. Apologies, Marilynn 7-5-16
