Meaning Ripples or “Little Waves” in Scottish Gaelic, Tuinn Bheaga has a rippling and flowing cabled edge with masses of soft garter stitch - just what you need to wrap up and keep warm during a long winter! Knit side to side in three sizes, Tuinn Bheaga is an asymmetrical triangular shawl knit on the bias. It’s a relaxing knit perfect for snuggling up in front of the TV with as the nights draw in!

The cable pattern is fully reversible so the shawl can be worn with the cable on either side for maximum flexibility. If you are new to cables, this is a great introduction as the cables used are simple but really effective.

While written in three sizes for DK weight, Tuinn Bheaga is easily adjustable to any size or gauge.

The pattern is fully written and charted so whichever way you like to read your patterns, you’re covered! The pattern has been tech edited and test knitted. There’s a screenshot of the pattern and a list of the stitches used at the bottom of the photos.
