This gorgeous shawl is knit on #5 needles and used almost all of the 875 yards of “FINO” yarn by Alpaca with a Twist. It’s an easy to knit design that has only an 8-row repeat - great for beginning lace makers!

Here are a variety of substitute yarns that also work up beautifully - they are:
1 hank Trendsetter Cashwool
4 skeins Colinette Parisienne
2 hanks Malabrigo Laceweight
4 skeins Frog Tree (860 yards – a little short but not enough to justify and extra skein)
2 skeins Misti Alpaca Lace (874 yard - again, not enough to justify another skien unless you feel like you have to!)
4 skeins of Rowan Kidsilk Haze, Rowan Kidsilk Night & Rowan Kidsilk Spray
4 skeins Crystal Palace Kid Merino

Enjoy!!
