Tulip season always seems surprisingly short, and this design was created so those elegant flowers can be enjoyed all year. The triangular lace shawl is filled with stylized tulip blossoms and buds and ends with a bud and leaf edging. If desired, one or three beads can be added to the edging scallops.

Knit from the top down, the stockinette stitch lace repeats over 16 stitches and 16 rows, making it more challenging to work. To customize the size, the edging can be started after any repeat.

This shawl looks great in a variety of lace, fingering, and Shetland/sport/DK weight yarns.
