Knit from the top down, this light weight triangle shawl is a cozy statement piece. Inspired by fields of tulips, the colorwork is created by using slipped stitches. If you can knit, purl, make a yarn over and a slip stitch, you can make this shawl!!

Size:
68 inches (173 cm) along the top edge
20 inches (51 cm) at the deepest point

Yarn:
Sample pictured used Ewe2Yarn’s:
One ‘SWIRL’ five color Fabuleux (85% Merino, 15% Nylon) mini skein set. Each 20 gram mini skein is 87yds/78m for a total of 100g/435yds/400m.
Plus: One skein of “Mellow” 100% Merino, 4-ply fingering. Each 100 gram skein is 437yds/400m.
Or use any fingering weight yarn of your choice in the following amounts:
Main Color- 437 yds/400m.
Five Contrast Colors- 85 yds/78m each.

Needles and Notions:
US size 5 (3.75 mm) with cord to accommodate a large number of stitches or a needle size to obtain gauge.
Stitch markers and a darning needle.

Gauge:
22 sts and 22 rows = 4 inches (10 cm) in the main slipped stitch pattern, blocked.
The knit fabric is meant to be loose with lots of drape.
