Tulips line up in beautifully symmetrical ranks along the edge of this design. The design can be knit as a triangular shawl or square blanket.

Materials
Shawl: 2 skeins of SweetGeorgia Yarns Cashsilk Lace in Black Plum (400 yd / 365 m per 1.9 oz / 55 g skein; 45% cashmere, 55% silk)

Blanket: 6 skeins of SweetGeorgia Yarns Superwash Worsted in Goldmine (200 yd / 183 m per 4 oz / 115 g skein; 100% superwash merino wool)

Suggested Needles
Shawl: US #5 / 3.75 mm circular needle, 32” / 80 cm long

Blanket: US #8 / 5.0 mm; double pointed needles, circular needle, 40” / 100 cm long

Gauge
Shawl: 24 sts and 30 rows per 4“ / 10 cm in stockinette stitch (after blocking)

Blanket: 20 sts and 24 rows per 4” / 10 cm in stockinette stitch (after blocking)

Size
Shawl measures approximately 64” / 162.5 cm across (wingspan) by 32” / 81 cm long at centre back

Blanket measures approximately 36–44” / 91.5–112 cm square

The shawl is knit in rows of increasing length, beginning at the centre top, and working outward to the edging.

The same charts are use for blanket and shawl, but they are worked slightly differently, as described in the written instructions.
