This is the perfect little project for leftover yarn!

Tumny is a cute softie worked from the bottom up (ending with the ears). You can be as playful with the pattern as you want - knit with anything from sport to bulky weight yarn, depending on how big you want him to be. You can also play around, turning Tumny into a pillowcase or zip pouch :)

The eyes are crocheted and sewed on along with the nose and mouth but you can try buttons, beads and such if you like.

Yarn & Materials

  • scrap yarn (of similar weight to working yarn) for provisional cast on
  • any left over yarn that feels soft on the skin
  • stuffing to fill Tumny up

Gauge is not all that important

Needles & Tools

  • 2.0mm dpns (I suggest going a few needle sizes below what is recommended for the yarn you’re using)
  • 2.0mm crochet hook
  • 6 stitch markers
  • stitch holders (or scrap yarn)
  • tapestry needle

Measurements
Will depend on the yarn you’re using.
