A Tunisian crochet cocoon made with budget friendly yarn to have the perfect picture accessory for a newborn.

With the upcoming arrival of my future niece, I wanted to make a fun and cozy cocoon for parents that love baseball. This is such a fun accessory to use for pictures to show that the infant loves the same baseball team as their parents.

Using Feels Like Butta Yarn (a perfect stash busting project), the body of the baseball works up quickly using Tunisian Simple Stitch. Then, after it is blocked, you will use second color to have the baseball come to life. A very simple project that future parents will absolutely love.

Available Sizes - One size - 22” wide by 22” inches long after blocking, before seaming. After seaming, 11” wide by 22” inches long.

Suggested Yarn - Feels Like Butta (you can use any worsted weight yarn)

Hooks Used: 6.5mm crochet hook with 18” cord

Notions Used: Scissors, Tapestry Needle, Blocking Supplies, Stitch Markers
