TUNISIAN Grace Wingspan Shawlette

Drawing inspiration from the shape of wings, this wingspan shawlette is perfect to wear for an evening out, or as everyday wear.

It is worked in a simple 2-row repeat that creates the triaxle lace stitch. As Tunisian crochet may tend to be a bit bulkier than crochet and knitting, this stitch makes the piece light and flowy and can also be worn around the neck as a scarf.

To create the wings of the shawlette, it is worked in short rows of 8 segments or triangles, staggered on one another by decreasing the rows and then picking up and increasing the set amount of stitches again.

Choose your own colors, work it in a single color, or a gradient yarn and create your own unique piece.
