This slightly asymmetrical triangle shawl is worked sideways in Tunisian crochet and finished with a beautiful filigree edging in a contrasting color. Yarnovers provide diagonal lines through the design similar to Autumn Filigree. This makes a warm and cozy shawl. The pattern assumes you have a basic knowledge of Tunisian simple stitch. You’ll need 600 yards of worsted weight yarn and a size J (6 mm) Tunisian crochet hook with a flexible cable extension for this project and 60 yards of a contrasting color. Finished size: 59” neckline x 27.5” deep (unblocked). This easy-to-hook design can be made with any weight of yarn by changing the hook size to suit the yarn. Size is determined by how much yarn you have and if you block your shawl. The 5 page pattern includes written instructions, crochet charts, and some helpful pictures.
