Inspired by the cogs of the Lorenz cipher machine or ‘Tunny’ as it was referred to, this crochet hat has a vintage fair-isle look but only one colour is used at a time.

This pattern is part of The Bletchley Collection, a six piece collection for Eden Cottage Yarns’ Milburn range inspired by the WWII code breakers stationed at Bletchley Park.
