This pattern is designed to give a vintage feel and look, but is straightforward to make and as a headband (rather than a turban) easy to wear.

Worked by holding the yarn double to take advantage of the fantastic vintage-look colours of this yarn, but easily exchanged for other yarns.

Worked as a flat piece and then sewn together the main technique required is to be able to pick up stitches - will be suitable for beginners.

Putting in a fleece-lining is optional but recommended to give the headband stability and warmth.
