Yarn requirements (from pattern):

6 ounces (170 grams) of sport-weight to fingering-weight yarn at about 13-15 wraps/inch, in colors A (light color), B (dark color), and C (contrasting color).

Ellen used a two-ply natural gray Lincoln for the contrasting color, and a 50/50 blend of kid mohair and Southdown, Navajo plied, for the dark and light colors…. In testing the pattern we used two different variegated handspun singles ….
