Turning Squares Shawl
Patterns that appear to be very complex and are, in reality, very simple have always intrigued me. The TURNING SQUARES SHAWLS is just such a pattern. Simple squares that are worked over a few stitches to create a “square” which are added onto one by one to create the finished shape. By using a variety of yarns with different colors and textures, the entire garment can change with your whim. Likewise, the size of the finished project is yours to determine…make it large or small…a scarf, a shawlette, or a full-fledged shawl, it’s up to you.
For the sample shown, 7 skeins of Freia Minikins were used.
