This skirt, like the matching Turnpike Top, is designed to have a comfortable flowing fit. The waist is fitted with elastic and a button. From there the stitches are rapidly increased to give you a flowing fabric. It is a top down stockinette stitch knit in the round, with the contrasting colour insets around the bottom to match those in the blouse.
