This gorgeous double thickness cowl is the perfect addition to your wardrobe this winter! Adding plenty of warmth without the bulk of a sweater, this cowl is a perfect way of combatting the colder weather!

Using a “false rib” technique, this cowl has plenty of stretch without having to rearrange it every time you want to go out. It’s layered look is fixed so that you can have the same look again and again!

This is an intermediate pattern due to the nature of the stitches involved. It’s a little awkward, but (shhhhh, here’s the secret bit) not as hard as it looks! For those who can master beginner and easy patterns, this is a great first project for pushing yourself to the next level!

Photo tutorials for the special stitches are included with the pattern, plus standard US terminology.

The pattern is designed to be “oversized”, the instructions being for a standard adult size, however there are notes for adjusting it to any size you wish!

I would just love to see what you make from my pattern, please feel free to share with me either here on Ravelry or over on www.fb.com/mumblesmummy
