A big thank you to Turtlepurl for her gorgeous yarn, Striped Turtle Toes! Turtlepurl Yarns are available on Etsy and Artfire. Shown in colourway Mystic Topaz.

Stripy sock yarns are the best! Skinny stripes, wide stripes, all kinds of stripes!

Not all stripy yarns stripe the same way, so this pattern is designed to allow you to adjust to the particular striping pattern of your selected yarn. It’s a bit of a choose-your-own-adventure, with two lace charts that you can use as you like to create your personalized sock.

Featuring a Strong-style heel, this sock is worked from the top down without the need to pick up stitches.

Sizes included: 60, 64, 68, 72, 76 stitches

Special note to keep the stripes intact: when you get to the heel turn, work it using the other end of the yarn!

Simply use the other end of the yarn for row 1 of the heel turn through the last repeat of row 6. For rows 7 and 8, switch back to the original strand of yarn, as you are starting to work in the round again. You will have two more ends to weave in, but your striping pattern will continue unbroken.
