This is a fun Harry Potter inspired bag done in the Moss Tweed crochet stitch. I made the original for a good friend who is a big HP fan and she loved it and gets lots of compliments on it.

The bag is sturdy, but due to the nature of the stitch, I wouldn’t suggest using it for small, loose items like beads. It would be super easy to add a fabric lining to make sure things don’t fall out through stitches.

You’ll need the following:
1 crochet hook, size 8.00mm (L)
1 skein Bernat Softee Chunkee in Wine
1 skein Bernat Softee Chunkee in Glowing Gold
1 skein Bernat Softee Chunkee in Black
yarn needle for weaving in ends

The main body of the bag is worked in one piece, and the yarn is carried so minimal weaving in of yarn ends!
