Although I think kids look adorable when they are dressed in things inspired by adult formal wear, it doesn’t always work vice versa.
I fell in love with the tweedy stitch when I designed “Tweedy” in 2011, and I knew I wanted to re-use this stitch for the adult version, but I had to revamp the look. With the cropped length and a zipper detail, the look is young and hip, but still appropriate for adults.
