This is actually two patterns in one. Knit 16cm legs with stripes on the foot or 29cm legs with shaping and a plain foot. You can easily mix and match to your heart’s content.

The legs of both models have a combination narrow and wide stripes with a simple slip-stitch motif. Don’t worry about colorwork though as this is created through slipped and lifted stitches. The most important thing is that your main contrast color works well with all the other colors you choose (or don’t - two colors would work just as well).

This pattern is designed to be used with one main color, one mini skein for heels and toes and ten micro skeins in contrasting colors (10grams = 42m), but you can absolutely use scraps, just two colors or whatever combination you like. This would also be great for those of you who have an advent calendar that did not include a pattern.
