Twelfth Night is a festive, colorful shawl named for the comedy by William Shakespeare which is believed to have been written as a Twelfth Night’s entertainment for the close of the Christmas season. Designed to make the most of twelve gorgeous shades of super soft DK wool dyed by Sweet Mountain Yarn in Cody, Wyoming. You’ll love the fun variety of stitches and interplay of colors!

Size: one size fits all.

Finished Measurements: Approx. 39” wide across top edge & 16” from top center to bottom edge, blocked (please see blocking tips in pattern notes below).

Yarn: Sweet Mountain Yarn’s Alpine DK (100% Targhee; 51 yds/20 g); 12 hanks in 12 different colors needed for a total of 612 yds/240 g (see image & key below for color scheme). Sample was knit using Sweet Mountain Yarn’s Christmas Cache Collection. For substitutions, I recommend 3 100g hanks or 12 20g minis DK weight in colors of choice; alternate colors as you wish.
