This simple hat is very stretchy and will fit a wide variety of heads. The brim can be worn down over the ears and eyes when walking the dog in the wind, or further up on the head in town.

Although designed in North Ronaldsay yarn, it can be knitted in most aran weight yarns.

The pattern is both charted and gives row-by-row instructions.

It is knitted flat, but as there is no shaping, it would be easy to transfer it to knitting in the round.
