Twilight Mist is a lightweight, lofty and soft shawl in a classic rectangular shape. This design features two simple reversible eyelet and lace stitch patterns and sawtooth edgings. It is knit sideways in alternating colours stripes.

This shawl can be knit either in a single strand of fingering or sock weight yarn, or in two strands of different lace weight yarn held together, one of which is a lace mohair to give the shawl a rich look.

Finished Measurements (approx):
14 x 60 inches (35 x 152 cm) - moderately blocked;
17 x 65 inches (43 x 165 cm) - blocked with wires and pins.

Gauge:
14 sts x 28 rows to 10cm/4in square over garter stitch on 4mm/US #6 needles, blocked.

Yardage required (approx):
645 yards (590 meters) of each - lace-weight mohair and any other lace-weight yarn, two strands of yarn held together;
or 645 yards (590 meters) of fingering/sock weight yarn.
