Twilight “the soft glowing light from the sky when the sun is below the horizon, caused by the reflection of the sun’s rays from the atmosphere”.

This soft drapey cowl is inspired by this time of the day, the time between day and night. The sky make such lovely colours for us just at this time. Make your own twilight colour combinations.

An easy to knit lightly tapered cowl worked from the bottom up in the round using simple stiches. The simple pattern means you can get crazy with your colours as the yarn is the feature of this pattern. The cowl is loose and drapey making it a great trans-seasonal throw on piece when your neck and shoulders need a little warming. The pattern uses two strands of sock weight yarn held together. Compatible with variegated, speckled and solids or any combination of them.…..get creative and have fun with it.

The simple pattern and large needle makes it a quick knit and great for a new knitter.

You will need 2 colours of sock/ fingering weight yarn.
Approximate yarn requirements.
Colour A: 350m (385 yds)
Colour B: 250m (275 yds)
