Little girls love Twilight, too! With all the young girls
asking for their own mittens like the ones Bella wears in
the first Twilight movie, I have been persuaded to
work up a pattern for sizes 4, 8, and 12 years old.

Long ribbed cuffs, and horseshoe cables along the entire
length of the upper arm, make these a special gift that
little girls will love.

Materials:
~ bulky weight (size 5) yarn, about 58 – 90 yards
(sample used Adrienne Vittadini Donata, in Jasper)
~ circular needles, size US 4 (3.50mm) – an unusual
size needle for this weight of yarn. Use whatever
needles you need to get the fairly dense gauge.

NOTE: If you can’t achieve this gauge, try using worsted yarn and size US 6 (4.00mm) needles. This will result in a less dense fabric, but should still turn out nicely.

Stitches/Techniques Used:
K, P, K2tog, M1, horseshoe cables (instructions given)
