A 3-color dyed-around skein produces crisp, clean argyles that are relatively easy to maintain (little attention was paid during the knitting process for this piece). Even through the center front panel breaks stitch count at the neckline, our eyes focus on the patterns. Side gussets turn the modest 18” center panel into a generous 24” to 32” width for a joyous, playful piece that can easily be sized up or down. Circular knitting at the neckline produces a deep turtleneck of spirals.
