There is nothing quite like a good waltz and as Miss Phryne Fisher says “My mother lost all reason when she was waltzed.” Come join us for a leisurely MKAL…we will be knititng a crescent shaped shawl in preparation of the New Year. An elegant shawl, easy to make as large as you like and fringed, if that is what you desire.
Knit in Nov. and Dec and we can waltz in the New Year!

This is a pattern for a crescent shaped shawl worked from the top down. This pattern is both written and charted. It has a few beads to make you sparkle, just so and some lace for a bit of mystery. Finally, you may choose to work the fringe. I have included how to calculate your yardage, along with an helpful fringe tutorial link from Donna on Felt Magnet. This shawl will work well in any solid or tonal yarn, and gentle variegation.

This shawl has beads on the shawl itself, approx 700 sized 8/0 sead beads. If you want to place beads on the fringe, that would be glorious, but there are no instructions on how to do this in this pattern.
