This pattern is available for free.

This is a quick to knit cap featuring bands of two coiled rope cables grouped together then a space between the next band and a cute oversized pom-pom. Hat is knit flat then gathered and seamed.
• Fits about a little below top of your ears.
• Circumference is about 20 to 21 inches.
• Fits teen/tween.
Gauge in k2, p2 is 5 sts over 7 rows=2 inches
Gauge in majority of pattern is 6 purl sts over 6 rows is 2 and a half inches.
One skein of Lion Brand Wool Ease Thick and Quick or any similar super bulky yarn.
I used LB wool ease thick and quick in Celebration.
