What baby hasn’t heard Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star a thousand and one times? This design brings the song to life with the upper portion of the design displaying a moon and multiple stars, and the lower portion of the design detailing the first 4 bars of the song in a contrasting color. Its a perfect nighttime and naptime blanket for both babies and toddlers.

This pattern calls for 4 skeins of the main color and 1 skein of the secondary color.

Because of the multiple designs and the situation where you will be working on several of the randomly placed stars at the same time, this pattern is for the experienced beginner or intermediate knitter. The main color is knit in the basic stockinette stitch with the design in reverse stockinette. To emphasize the musical notes, the secondary color for the music section is reversed – the background is reverse stockinette (purl a row, knit a row) with the pattern in stockinette stitch.

The pattern provides both graphs and detail counts of all the designs.
