A cowl with a twist. The stitch pattern is a variation from Blackberry stitch, but easier.

The pattern is written for a wool or a wool blend yarn, which has a suggested tension of 18 sts per 10 cm. The cowl is knitted in a looser tension.

The pattern contains tips for variations and how to use a thicker or thinner yarn.

The loop is twisted on purpose to add wearing options. The twist helps with wearing the cowl knotted (see the pictures), and to adjust the looseness. The cowl can be knitted also without twisting it.
