From Knitting New Scarves:

This scarf is the outcome of my first attempt to create a knit version of the fascinating Infinity Tower in Dubai. Within five inches, I knew I’d missed my mark (see my second attempt on page 108), but I was still pleased with the shape. I narrowed it so it could wrap around without warping, and I lengthened it so it could wrap many times around a neck to keep its wearer warm. The finished scarf may look complex, but it’s actually pretty simple to knit. Once you work through the pattern repeats a few times, you probably won’t even need to refer to the pattern.

The pattern is given in two versions: Aran and Chunky. The gauge for the chunky version is 12 stitches over 4 inches. The yardage range given also reflects the two sizes -- the low end of the range is with the chunky yarn, and the high end is with the aran yarn. Requires three double-pointed needles in US 10 for the aran version or 7 mm for the chunky version.
