The Twisted Love socks are my homage to traditional twisted stitches. Most twisted stitch stockings have 5 to 7 different stitch patterns that comprise the full patterning, and this sock follows that tradition with 5 different stitch patterns. As it can be hairy to follow multiple charts, I have presented the charts in two different formats to help you complete your Twisted Love socks.

This pattern is meant for an adventurous intermediate to advanced knitter. Please read the entire pattern before beginning.

Yarn: 1 Skein Oriri Draco Design Li’l Squish, 385 yards, Deep Lilac, blend of Merino, Bamboo, and Nylon

Needle: US 1 (2.25 mm) Hiya Hiya Steel Double Pointed Needles (DPNs) or needles to obtain gauge

Gauge: 7.5 stitches per inch (spi) and 9 rows per inch (rpi) OR 30 stitches & 36 rows to 4 inches/10 cm in stockinette

Size: To fit a US women’s 9 shoe, approx. 8.25” circumference and 9” foot

To alter the size: Adjust your gauge to increase or decrease the circumference of the foot as needed. Please note that this pattern
is not stretchy due to the twisted stitches and cables. An advanced knitter could also remove or exchange cable patterns to increase or decrease the size.
