Look at photos before starting. I’m not a pattern writer, so sorry if its not clear! And its FREE.
Its just crossing the stitches at mid-way point & then knitting then together after you knitted them both separately for amount stated.
Much easier to knit with Double point needles, so when you twist you can see what your doing. Knits up very fast! You can use different yarns! The bulky yarn is what gives it the richness.
If you want it for a child cast on 10 sts. For a thinner yarn cast on 18, 22, 26 etc.
You can also do a longer twist by doing the main part less inches and the twist longer. I also like to tack the twisted part down.
Fun to use more then one color. Also mix two yarns for a more textured feel.

Did a provisional cast-on and kitchener stitch and didn’t see any difference then just sewing together! Just found out you need to do do a different kind of grafting with a rib!
Try a 3 needle bind-off might work better.
Wonderful to keep head & ears warm!

VIDEO OF HOW TO KNIT THIS PATTERN. Thank you Christine for a great video!

When you place the 1st 6 stitches on a holder, you need to use the 6th stitch to cast off the 2 purl sts.
