I have crocheted this cowl with two balls of variegated yarn that were really cheap because there was only one ball of each for sale. These two yarns work very well together because both have the same burgundy hue, that makes them mix rather nicely. I added a flower brooch for a more sophisticated look.

This is a very simple pattern, worked in the round, in a continuous spiral, one half in blue and the other half in brown.
