This is a simple scarf with elongated ends. The shape is achieved as follows: starting from few stitches, slow increases until the desired width is obtain, the straight section and slow decreases that mirror the increases.

Gauge is not important. Use linen or light fingering yarn. Sock yarn will be fine, too. I recommend using larger needles than you would normally use for this yarn.

The Ravelry database provides the metrage 100 g/400 m, but bear in mind that Midara Linas varies a lot: different colours come with different yardage etc. If you are plannig to make two colour scarf, be sure that the metrage is the same. Mine was 100 g/430 m (NB! there is a typo in the magazine in this section). So no matter whether a particular colour is 2-, 3- or 6-ply (the plies are of different weight), the metrage is what matters.

The yellow-grey scarf: yellow colour 318, 3-ply, grey colour 1000, 6-ply.

I used 80 g of each colour. It makes a long enough scarf.
