Pattern description from Stitch ‘N Bitch Nation: “There was a time when no self-respecting hostess would serve her guests from a (gasp!) naked teapot. Today we are a little more open-minded about these matters, but maybe those ladies were on to something - a knitted cozy does keep your tea toasty warm. I’m a three-cup-a-day tea drinker (Earl Grey, black, two sugars) and a knitter as well, so putting together a tea cozy seemed logical. But the frilly patterns out there left me cold. I wanted something with a sense of humor to fit in with my retro kitchen (emphasis on kitsch), and this is the result. These 8-ball and Coffee, Tea or Me? cozies fit a classic four-cup teapot and will keep your tea hot, hot, hot!”
