The two pockets of this purse, one behind the other, can each be opened separately while keeping the other closed; unbutton both flaps to get to both pockets at once.

It is knitted with small amounts of thin 4 ply yarn, you will need three colours for each purse. The pockets are lined with material to help them keep their shape. Instructions are given for two sizes, a mini purse (6.5 x 5 cm) and a larger one (10 x 8 cm).

The basic instructions can also be used to make purses or bags of any size and with any yarn. I explain how to do this at the end of the pattern.
