Beginning with a provisional cast-on, Ann Budd combined rust
and burgundy laceweight yarn in a two-color brioche pattern to
create a rectangle. She then twisted one of the needles and used a three-needle bind-off to join the two ends together. The resulting mobius strip has neither a “right” nor “wrong” side, though one face is predominantly rust and the other is predominantly burgundy. A row of single crochet finishes the twisted edge while hiding any misshaped stitches. Knitted with larger-than-normal needles, this lofty cowl is featherlight.
