Two-Track Twists are knit top-down, using two circular needles. The design features miniature horseshoe cables running up and down the length of the sock, and the pattern includes a full photo tutorial demonstrating how to work the cables without a cable needle.

One skein of Cascade Heritage sock yarn was used for the green socks, and two skeins of Lorna’s Laces Shepherd sock were used for the pink version. Many other sock yarns could be substituted; I recommend using a yarn with good stitch definition so the cables will “pop.”
