You can work this quick and rewarding project in either of two gauges for completely different looks. Is your guy big and bold? Knit the band in Lite-Lopi dark gray and white. Is he more understated? Knit it in Jaeger black and gray wool. If you knit it in Lite-Lopi, line the headband with synthetic fleece or a similar fabric so it won’t be too itchy.
