SKILLS
To knit this sweater you need to know how to cast on stitches with any method, although the long tail method is recommended, to knit, purl, and work in the round, to make increases with the “make one away” technique (the one most commonly used to cast on stitches at the underarm, also known as the backwards loop method), to pick up stitches, to make decreases, to be familiar with knitting colourwork, and to bind-off stitches.
CONSTRUCTION
This sweater is knit top-down, i.e. it is started to knit at the neckline, it continues with the yoke, then sleeves are separated from the body, to continue knitting the body in the round.
