Fingering weight wool yarn, such as Rowan Scottish tweed 4-ply (bigger felt-able yarn will also work for a larger finished toy) in 2 colors
Size 4 US (3.5 mm) double-pointed needles, or sized to your yarn
Tapestry needle
Embroidery thread and needle or beads for eyes
Polyfil for stuffing
Standard washer and dryer for felting
