Der Poncho wird in einem Stück diagonal gestrickt. Dadurch kommt der Farbverlauf im Vorder- und Rückenteil gleichermaßen zur Geltung. Er ist offen und kann deshalb in beiden Richtungen getragen werden. Der Ausschnitt wird so zum U-Boot- oder zum V-Ausschnitt. Die Länge des Ponchos in Lilatönen (100farbspiele) ist ca. 52 cm, die Breite etwa 110 cm. Der blaue Poncho (Wollium) hat eine Breite von ca. 120 cm sowie eine Länge von ca. 53 cm.

Da eine Umrechnung von anderen Maschenproben oder Wunschmaßen durch die diagonale Stricktechnik anders erfolgen muss als gewohnt, enthält die Anleitung einige Erläuterungen, wie man dazu vorgehen muss.

The poncho is worked in one piece from corner to corner. Therefore the gradient color is the same on front and back of the poncho. The pictures show different ways to wear it.
In the pattern you find two sizes: 43 x 41‘‘ (110 x 103 cm) and 47 x 42’’ (120 x 106 cm) .

Due to the corner-to-corner technic adjusting the size is not as easy as usual. Therefore the pattern incorporates some explanations how to measure and calculate the number of rows and stitches of different sizes.
