A straight-knit scarf that looks like it was knit on the bias. Stitch pattern works well for variegated yarns and works up quickly in worsted weight yarn.

The eyelets give the scarf a lot of drape. A thinner yarn could be substituted for a lacier effect and instructions are given for widening the scarf to compensate for the smaller gauge.
