Uncomplicated Cable Socks

This pattern is appropriate for both men and women. It became my all time favorite after the very first sock I knitted. While the pattern looks complicated, it is actually a great pattern to follow for a beginning sock knitter.
Sizes: S/M/L/XL (54/60/66/72)sts

Materials
Yarn:
Knit Picks Stroll – Hand painted, Fingering Weight, 462 yards/100g,
75% Superwash Merino Wool, 25 % nylon. Sample color Springtime – tonal.

Needles: 2 – 24” circular needles
#1 US/2.5mm or size to obtain gauge.

Gauge:
In pattern stitch unblocked and un-stretched, 22 sts – 16 rows = 2”
