PLYMOUTH EUROPA TWEED (70% wool; 87yds; 50g) color 2; 5 (5, 6, 7, 8) balls
Substitution: A bulky yarn with a recommended gauge of 12 sts = 4in/10cm

Sizes
To Fit: Small (32in – 34in), medium (36in – 38in), large (40in – 42in), 1X (44in – 46in), 2X (48in – 50in)

Gauge: 9 sts and 12 rows = 4in/10cm in stockinette stitch pattern with US 15/10mm needles or size needed to obtain gauge. (This is knit at a looser gauge than recommended, the recommended gauge for the yarn is 12 sts = 4in/10cm.)

Construction notes: The back is worked flat from the top. At the bottom edge, short rows are worked for shaping and stitches are left live. The lacework is knit in one piece in the round, starting with the live stitches at the bottom, casting on stitches for the armhole, picking up stitches along the top cast on edge and casting on stitches for the second armhole. The piece is finished with an I-cord bind off. No seams to sew.

Pattern notes: The lace work is very simple. The stitch pattern changes often to accommodate increasing, therefore the directions are written row by row and there is no chart. There are only 26 (28, 30, 32, 34) rounds of lace.
