Made in blue and brown shades, this skirt reminds you of the deep sea. A beginner friendly skirt that even advanced crocheters will find interesting to crochet. Subtle shaping and color changes avoid you to get bored by that project you’ll love to wear. The pattern contains detailed written instructions and a photo tutorial for the elastic waistband.

The pattern uses US terminology.

Sizes:

Waist (in inches): 27 (30, 33, 36, 39, 42, 45)
Hip (in inches): 33 1/5 (38, 42, 45 1/2, 49, 52, 55 1/2)

Yarn requirements for 20” long skirt:

Sport / 5-ply cotton yarn (colors are suggestions, you can use anything!)

Main color - MC (blue): 800 (900, 1000, 1050, 1150, 1200, 1300) yards
Contrasting color 1 - CC1 (different shade of blue): 250 (270, 300, 330, 350, 370, 400) yards
Contrasting color 2 - CC2 (3rd shade of blue, purple or green): 90 (100, 110, 120, 130, 140, 150) yards
Contrasting color 3 - CC3 (brown): 50 (60, 65, 70, 80, 85, 90) yards

Other materials needed:

Elastic for waistband, 1” large, length = waist size + 2”.
A little sewing thread.
6 buttons (3/4” to 1” diameter)
Size G/4mm hook (or size to get gauge)
Tapestry needle
